PICP And The Pacific Transnational Crime Network (PTCN) – MOA

  On the 1 September 2008 the Chair of the PICP, Chief Ross Adern, on behalf of the PICP membership signed a Memorandum of Agreement(MOA) with the Chair of the Board for the Pacific Transnational Crime Coordination Centre, Commissioner Lorenese Neru.  The  MOA establishes the relationship the PTCCC has with the PICP and includes the purpose and the establishment of the PTCN.  The PTCN includes all countries represented by the PICP , the United States Joint Interagency Task Force West based in Hawaii and all those countries with Transnational Crime Units including Fiji, Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia’s regional TCU, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea.
